About the job
As a Plant Technology Engineer in our plant technology team, you are enthusiastic to improve existing production processes or to develop them to a new and higher level. Through your close cooperation with our global suppliers, own production plants and internal product experts, you will contribute significantly to the modernization, optimization and further development of the equipment and production processes. You are willing to travel to RHI Magnesita locations globally up to 50% of your working time. In this role you will directly report to the Head of Plant Technology.
In addition, your tasks will include
- Independent processing of improvement projects with the area of operations and plant technology.
- Supporting the operational project managers worldwide in the design and coordination of projects, from planning to investment application, procurement, realization, and commissioning to acceptance by the plant.
- Generation, collection, and management of technical and technological know-who and transfer to the production facilities globally.

What we expect from you in terms of
Education & Skills
- A technical university degree, preferably in the fields of process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
- Knowledge of CAD (Auto Cad, Inventor) is a must have.
Languages
- English – Proficient/Fluent
- German – Proficient/Fluent
- Any other language is considered as an asset.
Work Experience
- Ideally first relevant professional experience
- First experience in project management

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 51.000 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualification and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority. We will make sure to offer you a competitive salary package that values your relevant background and that’s in line with market values.
